I love this antique, original interior design idea. Weather vanes really are obsolete nowadays-- years from now, these ornate pieces that are well made will likely be sought after in the antique world. It brings a country traditional, old world feel without seeming outdated. I think that white crown molding would go great in the room where this weather vane is featured, along the top of the wall.
